Climb-Ups

From the manufactruer:

Climb-Ups are simple and effective. They consist of a very low friction plastic disc and some talcum powder. Bed bugs intent on climbing onto a bed get stuck in them and cannot get back out. Bed bugs on the bed leaving to go lay eggs are likewise trapped. The important thing to remember is to keep sheets, blankets, etc... from trailing onto the ground and to keep the bed from touching nearby wall surfaces - giving the bed bugs only one way to get on or off the bed.

BDS™ Bedbug Detection System

BDS Catchmaster

This monitor is passive and contains no pheromones or lures.

From the manufacturer:

How It Works

BDS™ simulates the conditions that bedbugs consider “perfect harborage”: tight, dark tunneling and rough woodsy material. (Common examples are the small grooves of corrugated boxes, mattress creases and wood furniture.)  Through careful research of bedbug biology, we have developed a trap that imitates these patterns. If bedbugs are nearby, they are drawn to the BDS™ and trapped in its patented dot-matrix adhesive.

BB ALERT - Passive Monitors.

From the manufacturer:

BB ALERT® Passive is designed to provide an ideal harborage for Bed Bugs. When the monitor is placed in proximity to potential feeding sites, the large number of small crevices it contains are highly attractive to Bed Bugs as a potential harborage. The monitor incorporates a white band around the exterior, which clearly shows the fecal staining of Bed Bug activity when the insects are present.

Early detection of Bed Bug activity is acknowledged as a key factor in reducing the disruption, cost and effort of remedial treatment. Bed Bugs are notoriously cryptic pests, with most infestations remaining undetected until they reach a significant size. The BB ALERT® Passive monitor is a discreet alternate to the labor intensive task of routine inspection for the presence of Bed Bugs.

NightWatch™

From the manufacturer:

NightWatch performance has been tested by practitioners in the field and documented in the most prestigious entomology publication, The Journal of Medical and Veterinary Entomology (2009; 22, 01-7) published by the Royal Entomological Society 1. Dr. John F. Anderson of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station tested NightWatch prototypes for over one year. His many months of lab tests indicate that an infestation of 5 male and 5 female bedbugs has a 99.98% chance of detection by the NightWatch over a period of 7 days. Data shows that NightWatch captured bedbugs in laboratory tests, in infested unoccupied apartments (with or without furniture), and in an occupied apartment. In an extremely infested multi-unit public housing facility, almost 10,000 bedbugs were captured — after professional chemical and steam treatments were applied," according to Dr. Anderson.
